I’ve worked in various marketing guises since 2006, when I completed an Advanced BND in Print and Publishing at South East Essex College.
My original focus was within traditional marketing roles, including point of sale and creative writing, but I moved into the digital marketing sector in 2014, once I had completed a Masters in Digital Marketing, run by Google.
Having worked in a number of industries (including retail, investments, local government, internet of things, and non-profit) I’m able to take a consumer perspective of a business and then utilise a broad range of tools and methods to increase awareness, improve perception, and raise income.
Having spent over a year managing the Marketing Department at Farleigh Hospice in Chelmsford, I was struck by how little support local charities and firms are given to improve their online presence, in a world where the online world is increasingly crucial in business.
In November 2017 I launched my freelance career, by offering digital marketing consultancy at competitive rates so that small to medium charities and businesses can get the support they need, when they need it.
